Three outstanding seniors at Poland Central School won awards from the Kuyahoora Valley Rotary Club based on their essays and high school activities.  Sarah Braunlich won the $1000 academic award.  She plans to attend SUNY New Paltz and major in biology.  Her future plans include training as an oncologist.  David Watrous won the $500 award for his volunteer work while in high school.  He plans on attending St. John Fisher and majoring in political science and pre-law.  His eventual goal is to become a lawyer.  Shiane Irwin won the $500 effort award and plans to attend St. John Fisher to the Master’s level were she will become a nurse-practitioner.  She is also one of the best athletes to come from Poland Central School.
