The Kuyahoora Valley Rotary has 2 annual events (27^th Annual Auction and the 21^st Annual Fishing Derby) coming in the spring of 2019. The Auction will be May 4^th and the Fishing Derby will be May 18^th of 2019.

 

The auction is a major fundraiser for the club, where the club collects used household items and vendor certificates to later auction at the 27^th Annual Auction. The Auction location will be at Snyder Fuel Service, Main St, Newport NY. Viewing of auction items will start at 8AM on May 4^th 2019 and the auction will start at 10 AM sharp the same day. The club collects donated items throughout the year. Anyone wishing to donate for this year’s auction please call John at 315-725-2393 or Tom at 315-794-2995 or email to tomlin@roadrunner.com. All donations are greatly appreciated.

 

The 21^st Fishing Derby will be held May 18, 2019. The fishing derby is funded by the Kuyahoora Rotary Club for the grade school students (Pre-school through 6^th Grade) of the Poland Central and West Canada Valley Central School Districts. Prizes for the largest fish caught in each age group and prizes for largest overall fish caught will be provided. Annually, a couple of weeks prior to the fishing derby the club purchases 100 12–15“ trout to stock the pond.
