April/May 2017 Student-of-the-Month

At our May 30^th Kuyahoora Rotary Club meeting we distributed Student-of-the-Month awards to 2 students, one each from Poland and West Canada Central Schools. We encouraged both students to apply for one of our graduation awards.  We distribute $6,000 in awards annually to graduating seniors from Poland and West Canada Central Schools.

Andrew Thierry is a graduating senior at WCVCS and was chosen as the Kuyahoora Rotary student-of-the-month for April 2017.  He introduced us to his mother and two younger sisters.  He is currently a top student as well as a competitive athlete in both soccer and track.  Upon graduation he plans to attend college and major in cyber-security.  

Zoe Scialdone is a graduating senior at PHS was chosen as the Kuyahoora Rotary student-of-the-month for May 2017. She introduced us to her family.  She was selected by the Kuyahoora Rotary Club based on her unique talent as an actress and dancer.  She has been in ALL of Poland’s drama Projects for the last six years and plans to continue her studies at SUNY Fredonia upon graduation.
